AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDENT UNION:

i) To educate and train the students of the University in running the students bodies in the colleges/institution in a democratic way.
ii). To provide education and training to the students for their role as ideal citizens of the country.
iii) To provide for the achievement of the objectives of the University relevant to teaching, research and extension.
iv) To provide for the social, cultural and intellectual development of the students.
v) To provide for the promotion of healthy relations between the students, teachers and other employees of the University.
vi) To promote a healthy and orderly corporate life in the University.

ACTIVITIES OF THE UNION:- The activities of the Union shall consist of:
i) Organizing debates, lectures, discussions, study circle, essay competitions, cultural and other contests etc.M
ii) Publication in furtherance of education.
iii) Social service and activities.
iv) Organizing and running students activities.
v) Such other activities as approved by the Chief Patron or any other officers nominated by him in this behalf.
