Overview

Veterinarians face several challenges during postmortem investigations especially while documenting the gross findings, collecting circumstantial samples for evidences, analyzing available information and providing scientific opinions in the court of law. Conduct of necropsies according to scientific procedure requires, collective knowledge in different areas encompassing anatomy, pathology, toxicology and microbiology. Experts with knowledge and experience will provide concise information regarding various aspects of postmortem examination during this training. The aim of this course is to grind the participant`s perception about post-mortem examination and make clear about the every aspect of post-mortem examination.
Objectives

• A Scientific approach for the post-mortem examination.
• To make participants well acquaint with the Veterolegal post-mortem examination.
• To provide information pertaining to sample collection during post-mortem examination and method of preservation and despatch of sample for diagnosis.
