Overview
Conservation of animal biodiversity has been one of the most important subsidiary occupations of the conservation of animals’ community in India. The loss of habitat or rate of decline is faster than the human assessment of the earth’s species or biological diversity. There by many species are likely to disappear even before they become known to science. Indigenous livestock and wildlife conservation specialists work to preserve forests and the natural habitats they provide to various animal species. There is an urgent need to document the diversity, conserve species and arrest extinction. The science of biodiversity addresses these aspects. It uses theoretical knowledge form other field of biology and apply it to finding solution for achieving biodiversity conservation.
